Editorial principles
Six things readers can rely on. They are the publishing principles of Veliri and every page refers to them.
What software does and what people do
Software gathers the listings, matches them to a bag, converts currencies, computes the daily figures and keeps the links alive. People decide which bags are tracked and verify the specifications. Software also drafts the news items, from the houses’ own channels, the platforms’ newsrooms and the index’s own figures, and each says so. Every written page is read and approved before it is published, by Valentina Petkova, the editor, or by Aleksandar Petkov, the publisher, and carries the name of the person who approved it and the date. A page whose data is maintained by software says so.
Where the prices come from
Every price on the site is an asking price read from a platform’s own data interface, shown with the platform and the day it was read. Retail prices name their source and region. Nothing is estimated to fill a gap: a figure that does not exist reads "n/a".
No review without hands-on
A guide, a platform review or an authentication piece is written by the named person who handled the bag or made the purchase, with the date and place recorded on the page; approval alone is not enough. Veliri never reviews what nobody on the team has held, and never certifies an item as genuine.
Independence from the platforms
Veliri earns commissions from some platforms and says so wherever a link can earn one. Commissions change nothing about which listings appear, their order, or the index figures, which are computed from every matched listing on every platform alike.
The houses
Brand and model names are used to describe the bags, not to suggest any connection with the houses, which do not endorse this site. No brand mark is used as a design element. A takedown request goes to the contact address and is answered within a few days.
Corrections
Errors are corrected on the page with a note saying what changed and when. Index history is never rewritten; a wrong day is marked, not erased. Report an error through the contact page.
The people
Every written page names the person who wrote it or approved it; their pages list what they signed.
